Job Overview: Cole Engineering Services is in search of dedicated professionals to contribute to a team focused on evaluating new software and hardware frameworks for PCTE.

Key Responsibilities: Candidates will assist in the formulation and development of hardware/software testing protocols, scenarios, and methodologies utilizing various software tools and applications. Responsibilities include conducting unit tests, configuration item assessments, and system-level evaluations, along with supporting verification and validation testing as necessary. The role involves crafting test plans and generating test reports for all testing phases undertaken. Collaboration with clients, development teams, and systems engineers is essential to gain a comprehensive understanding of system requirements and software deployment. Teamwork with engineers from diverse backgrounds is expected.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in testing software, hardware, and training systems.
  • Proven experience in testing web-based applications within a dynamic and evolving landscape.
  • Ability to take initiative, communicate effectively with team members, and proactively identify and address potential challenges.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are mandatory.

Preferred Knowledge Areas:

  • Cyber Operations Training
  • Experience in DevOps methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
  • Skills in hardware troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies.
  • Proficiency in Linux environments.

Educational Background:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer engineering, computer science, information technology, systems, or software engineering from an accredited institution. Relevant military or work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Five (5) years of experience in a Test Engineer role, focusing on evaluating new software frameworks and supporting software and hardware installations at remote locations.
  • A TS/SCI security clearance is mandatory.

Additional Requirements: This position requires U.S. Citizenship status and the ability to maintain a TS/SCI security clearance, as specified in the Government's Task Order.
