Job Overview: Cole Engineering Services is in search of dedicated professionals to become part of a team focused on evaluating new software and hardware frameworks for PCTE.

Key Responsibilities: Candidates will assist in the design and development of hardware/software testing protocols, scenarios, and methodologies that utilize a variety of software tools and applications. Responsibilities include conducting unit tests, configuration item assessments, and system-level evaluations, as well as supporting verification and validation testing as necessary. The role involves creating comprehensive test plans and reports for all testing phases. Collaboration with customers, development teams, and systems engineers is essential to fully grasp system requirements and software execution. Teamwork with engineers from diverse backgrounds is expected.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in testing software, hardware, and training systems.
  • Proficiency in testing web-based applications in a dynamic and evolving environment.
  • Ability to take initiative, communicate effectively with team members, and identify and resolve potential challenges.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Desirable Knowledge:

  • Experience in Cyber Operations Training.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices.
  • Experience using Jira and Confluence.
  • Skills in hardware troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies.
  • Knowledge of Linux operating systems.

Educational Background:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer engineering, computer science, information technology, systems engineering, or software engineering from an accredited institution. Relevant military or work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Five years of experience in a Test Engineer role, focusing on testing new software frameworks and supporting software and hardware installations at remote locations.
  • TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.

Additional Requirements: Please note that due to government contract stipulations, this position requires U.S. Citizenship and the ability to maintain a TS/SCI security clearance. Security clearance specifications will be outlined in the Government's Task Order.
