Job Summary:

B&B Concrete is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Concrete Foreman to join our team. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our projects, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining the highest level of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Assist the superintendent in scheduling and coordinating project activities, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Crew Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of carpenters, providing guidance and direction to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Quality Control: Verify dimensions and layout of panels and slabs, ensuring that all work meets the highest standards of quality.
  • Materials Management: Collaborate with the superintendent to ensure that all necessary materials and tools are available on site.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project progress, including timecards, materials, and equipment usage.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a Foreman in a commercial construction setting.
  • Skills: Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, physical strength and stamina to perform tasks as needed, and knowledge of tilt-up panels and the process (preferred).
  • Certifications: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, and OSHA Certification or willingness to obtain one.

Working Conditions:

  • Physical Demands: Work outside in various weather conditions, and able to lift at least 50lbs.
