We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant General Manager to lead our hotel operations team at Hyatt Regency London. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage services, as well as hiring and training team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the hotel operations team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Manage front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage services
- Hire and train team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Monitor and analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to increase revenue and reduce costs
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences
- Ensure the hotel is a safe and secure facility for guests and team members
Requirements:
- Previous hotel management experience with a proven track record of success in leading teams
- Three years of management experience as a front office manager
- Proven success in guest service results
- Hotel and restaurant degree a plus
- Strong financial knowledge required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Internet, and property management system
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Drive for results demonstrated through successful performance in prior leadership positions
- Time management skills to meet commitments across multiple departments and roles
- Customer focus to consistently deliver optimal employee and customer satisfaction
