Early Childhood Department Administrative Coordinator

Salary: Estimated salary range: $40,000 - $55,000 per year, based on location and experience. Salary will be determined by the contract between the Norwich Board of Education and the AFSCME Local 1303.
Job Description: Collaborate with early childhood department staff to perform administrative tasks, including updating records, coordinating events, and managing supplies. This role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to improve administrative efficiency and productivity
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute school events and activities
- Manage and maintain accurate records, including student information, attendance, and grades
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and visitors to provide timely and helpful information
- Procure and manage necessary resources and materials to support educational programs
