Job Title: Part-Time Administrative Assistant for Early Childhood Education

About the Role: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented administrative assistant to join our team at Norwich Public School District. This part-time position will provide administrative support to the early childhood department, performing a variety of tasks including record-keeping, data entry, and communication with staff and parents.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, both electronic and hardcopy files.
  • Enter data into computer using specialized databases and other recordkeeping and communication applications.
  • Coordinate transportation, maintain bus lists, and design/create/update bus tags for student safety.
  • Prepare orders for office and classroom supplies, receive deliveries, and verify accuracy of receiving documents.
  • Perform a wide range of administrative support duties for the early childhood department.


Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent organizational and time management skills, as well as proficiency in Google Suite and other computer applications. You will also need to be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Salary: Estimated salary range is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
