Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Department Supervisor to join our team at Golden State Peterbilt. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair operations, ensuring high-quality service, and managing a team of technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Lead a team of technicians, assigning tasks, and ensuring timely completion of repairs and maintenance.
  • Workflow Management: Coordinate service schedules, prioritize work orders, and optimize the efficiency of the service department.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of workmanship, ensuring all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and industry regulations.
  • Customer Service: Interact with customers to understand their service needs, provide estimates, and address any concerns or complaints.
  • Training and Development: Provide guidance and training to technicians, fostering their professional growth and ensuring they stay updated on the latest technologies and service procedures.
Requirements
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of truck systems, engines, transmissions, and other components, along with proficiency in diagnostic tools and software.
