Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) License in Washington
  • Familiarity with HEC-RAS and SRH2D software
  • Understanding of regulations, codes, and standards related to fish passage and stream restoration projects in Washington
  • Experience with permitting processes involving various environmental regulatory bodies
  • Capability to manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality work

Role Responsibilities:

As a Project Manager, you will play a vital role within our design teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership, time management, and communication abilities to pursue, develop, and implement projects. This role offers the chance to engage in diverse fish passage initiatives for both public and private sector clients, including:

  • Stream Assessments
  • Hydrologic and Hydraulic Analysis
  • Scour Analysis and Countermeasure Design
  • Streambed Stability Design
  • Large Woody Material Stability Analysis
  • Hydraulic Design Reports
  • Permit Applications and Support
  • Technical Specifications and Cost Estimates
  • FEMA No-Rise Analysis and Certification

General Project Tasks:

  • Management and/or design of engineering projects
  • Main point of contact with clients for project coordination and design
  • Supervision of design engineers and drafters
  • Ensuring technical content and quality control
  • Establishing project fees and timelines
  • Monitoring project budgets and schedules to meet contractual obligations
  • Providing construction administration support
  • Communicating with design consultants, municipalities, contractors, and clients
  • Conducting site visits
