Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) License in Washington State
- Familiarity with HEC-RAS and SRH2D software
- Understanding of applicable codes, regulations, and standards for fish passage and stream restoration projects in Washington
- Experience with permitting processes involving environmental regulatory bodies
- Capability to oversee multiple concurrent projects
- Strong communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills are essential
- Commitment to delivering high-quality work and accountability
Role Responsibilities:
As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role within our design teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership, time management, and communication abilities to pursue, develop, and implement projects. This role offers the chance to engage in various fish passage initiatives for both public and private sectors, including:
- Conducting Stream Assessments
- Performing Hydrologic & Hydraulic Analyses
- Executing Scour Analysis & Designing Scour Countermeasures
- Designing Streambed Stability Solutions
- Analyzing Large Woody Material Stability
- Preparing Hydraulic Design Reports
- Assisting with Permit Applications & Permitting Processes
- Creating Plans, Technical Specifications & Cost Estimates
- Conducting FEMA no-rise analyses and certifications
General Duties:
- Management and/or design of projects
- Primary liaison with clients for project coordination and design
- Supervision and direction of design engineers and drafters
- Ensuring technical content and quality control
- Establishing project fees and timelines
- Monitoring project budgets and schedules to meet contractual obligations and profitability
- Providing support for construction administration
- Communicating with design consultants, municipalities, contractors, and clients
- Conducting site visits
