The Lakeside School is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Enrollment Management to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive enrollment strategy that aligns with our school's mission and goals.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Enrollment Process: Oversee all aspects of the admissions, enrollment, and re-enrollment process, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for prospective families.
- Market Analysis and Strategy: Conduct market research and analysis to understand admissions, financial aid, and enrollment trends in the Greater Seattle Area, and develop a long-term vision for our program.
- Process Improvement: Audit our current admissions process, identify areas for improvement, and implement creative solutions to increase the funnel from prospective families to enrolled students.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage an admissions team of teaching faculty and staff through all aspects of the admissions process, including interviewing candidates, leading tours, hosting admissions events, reading files, and running admissions committee meetings.
- Database Management: Set up our admissions database annually, ensuring a clear process with a positive user experience.
- Brand Development: Work with brand consultants to hone our value proposition and establish clear brand messaging.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Create reports, analyze data, and make data-driven marketing decisions, partnering with the Director of Communications on the implementation of marketing strategies.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Attract and enroll a diverse group of mission-appropriate students, engaging thoughtfully with students and families from diverse ethnic, gender, socioeconomic, and educational backgrounds.
- Community Engagement: Connect with other admissions professionals in the area through the consortium of Puget Sound Independent Schools (PSIS) and other networks, and understand and connect with the extended community, including trustees, students, faculty, staff, parents, and guardians.
- Advisory Role: Serve as an advisor to students and be involved in the life of The Lakeside School.
- Education: Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
- Experience: Five or more years of relevant experience in admissions, with excellent skills in listening, counseling, verbal and written communication, public speaking, technology, flexibility, creativity, and a proclivity for employing new approaches to work.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work occasional evenings and weekends.
- Criminal Background Check: Satisfactory completion of a criminal background check.
