Regional Director of Business Development and Marketing

Avalon Health Care Management Inc. is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our regional business development efforts in Washington.

The Regional Director of Business Development serves as the externally focused strategic and tactical leader for census development and relationship management, driving census and alliance growth for the entire region. This role involves acting as a consultant, coach, mentor, and dotted line supervisor for care center level Directors of Community Relations and Admissions Coordinators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a regional business development plan in collaboration with the VP of Marketing and Regional Vice President.
  • Create and implement business development plans for each care center in collaboration with the VP of Marketing, RVP, and care center Administrator.
  • Analyze market opportunities for each care center and produce measurable growth in census market share.
  • Provide regular business development visitation matrices and calendar reviews to stakeholders.
  • Conduct monthly business development meetings with Administrators, Directors of Community Relations, and Admissions Coordinators.
  • Develop and implement a plan to expand the region's referral base through alliance development.
  • Evaluate niche marketing opportunities and complete competitor analysis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, nursing, or related field (Masters preferred).
  • 7-10 years of strategic marketing experience, ideally in the healthcare field.
  • Demonstrated success in business growth, census development, and relationship management.
  • Strong analytical and market analysis skills.
  • Existing relationships with HMOs and referral sources a plus.
