Job Title: Account Manager

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for selling our chromatography consumables product portfolio within the Analytical Instruments Group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Exceed sales targets by engaging with end-user customers, key decision makers, and procurement teams.
  • Design and implement a detailed business plan with account-specific strategies to win business and promote territory growth.
  • Build technical proficiency on Thermo Fisher Scientific chromatography consumables solutions and be perceived by the customer base as a valued partner.
  • Visit customers and prospective accounts daily to understand needs and challenges and promote our product portfolio.
  • Maintain accurate and current records of proposals, opportunities, accounts, contacts, leads, and actions through our CRM system.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field.
  • 2+ years of successful selling experience, preferably in analytical instrumentation.
  • Familiarity with industries such as biotech, pharmaceutical, academia, environmental, food safety, clinical/toxicology, and forensics.
  • Excellent organization, planning, and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and listening skills.
  • Mature disposition, positive attitude, and strong sense of commitment.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% including overnight travel.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary range of $71,000.00-$105,000.00 based on location.
  • Variable annual bonus based on company, team, and individual performance results.
