We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at TempWorks Account and contribute to the smooth operation of our warehouse and distribution center. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, stack, and arrange materials and products. Your attention to detail and strong organizational skills will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient flow of goods within our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials and products within the warehouse.
  • Safely stack and arrange products in designated areas, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
  • Inspect forklifts for any defects or damage before and after each use, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents or injuries in the workplace.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and materials movement, utilizing computer systems as required.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet production goals.
  • Assist in general warehouse duties, such as picking and packing orders or performing inventory counts, when necessary.
  • Follow company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or similar role in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
  • Valid certification to operate a forklift, such as OSHA forklift certification.
  • Excellent knowledge of forklift operations and safety procedures, including load capacity limits and stability.
  • Ability to handle heavy materials and safely maneuver large equipment in tight spaces.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in organizing materials and stacking products.
  • Good physical stamina and dexterity to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects.
  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping and inventory management.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and follow instructions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
