Your Role

The Event Production Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in overseeing project timelines and budgets while developing and executing technical solutions and construction strategies based on design concepts. This position demands exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with precision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to create project cost estimates.
  • Coordinate and review all technical drawings with the CAD Department to ensure accuracy in shop builds.
  • Oversee detailed assembly and installation drawings for production use during load-in.
  • Research and procure materials and hardware necessary for construction.
  • Maintain active communication with the construction team and manage shop production schedules in conjunction with the Shop Foreman.
  • Work closely with department heads and subcontractors to achieve budgetary and scheduling objectives.
  • Engage with clients and supervisory staff throughout the design and construction phases.
  • Manage project scope changes and their budgetary implications.
  • Track and report project costs against the budget.
  • Ensure safety oversight and quality control throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in technical theater and/or scenic fabrication.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Illustrator, and MS Office.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative work ethic.
  • Willingness to work overtime and travel up to 90% as required.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent.
