Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Strategic Marketing Leader to enhance the growth of Arkansas Department of Workforce Services.

This role involves formulating both immediate and long-term marketing strategies and goals to align with market requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leverage insights and resources from business collaborators and analysts to pinpoint marketing prospects.


2. Acquire a deep understanding of the sector while maintaining comprehensive knowledge of products.
3. Collaborate with the marketing team, business associates, and external strategic partners to develop impactful marketing initiatives.


4. Supervise the graphics team and social media personnel to ensure adherence to quality standards and timelines.

5. Conceptualize, design, and proofread solutions for a diverse range of projects, including brochures, promotional materials, videos, advertisements, and billboards.

6. Oversee all packaging designs and updates to guarantee consistency in brand messaging across products.

7. Formulate and implement social media strategies for multiple brands across various platforms, including YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.

8. Work alongside other departments (e.g., customer service, sales) to manage online reputation, which includes responding to customer feedback and inquiries.

9. Maintain an organized library of the latest marketing and advertising resources, including project files, product images, stock photos, graphic elements, and brand guidelines.

10. Create and execute online advertising campaigns for product promotions and sales utilizing digital marketing tools.

11. Manage website design and maintenance for multiple sites; HTML proficiency is advantageous.

12. Coordinate and oversee participation in trade shows.

13. Provide guidance and mentorship to direct reports.

Essential Qualifications:
1. 5-8 years of experience in a marketing management role.

2. Ability to maintain a comprehensive database of production resources.

3. Strong organizational skills and efficiency.

4. Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adapting to changes swiftly.

5. Experience in graphic design.

6. Proficient in crafting dialogue and product descriptions.

7. Skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and Lightroom.

8. Experience in photography and photo editing.

9. Knowledge of SEO and SEM practices.

10. Willingness to travel occasionally.
