Medical Territory Business Executive

Job OverviewThe successful candidate will collaborate with a Clinical Diabetes Specialist to drive the launch of our cutting-edge insulin pump and future products in their assigned territory. Key responsibilities include building strong relationships with healthcare providers, promoting the adoption of Sequel products, and developing effective territory strategies to meet or exceed sales goals.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute territory plans in partnership with the Clinical Diabetes Specialist to achieve sales targets.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, fostering a deep understanding of their needs and preferences.
- Promote Sequel products among healthcare providers, emphasizing their benefits and unique features.
- Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of diabetes therapeutics and Sequel's product offerings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the user experience and address any concerns or issues raised by customers.
- Represent Sequel at industry conferences and educational forums to increase product awareness and visibility.
- Manage leads and opportunities in our CRM database, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
- Maintain a high profile within state and local patient advocacy groups and professional diabetes organizations.
- Assist with field sales training, sharing knowledge and best practices with junior staff.
- Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Participate on internal advisory boards, contributing expertise and insights to inform business decisions.
- Lead weekly team calls, regional meetings, and other gatherings as needed, fostering open communication and collaboration.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- At least 2+ years of sales experience, with a proven track record of sales success.
- Valid driver's license.
- For Senior role: 4+ years of sales experience in pharmaceuticals, biotech, or medical devices, with a demonstrated history of sales success.
- Experience in diabetes and selling automated insulin devices preferred.
- Strategic problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated relationships with Endocrinologists, preferably with experience promoting diabetes devices and knowledge of diabetes therapeutics.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, promoting team collaboration and driving results.
- Strong data analysis, evaluation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to execute sales and marketing plans, manage territory budgets, and meet/exceed sales targets.
$80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Environmental/Safety/Physical Work ConditionsThis position requires frequent travel within the assigned territory, use of computer and telephone equipment, and occasional extended hours during peak business cycles.
