Position: Area Market Manager
Region: New England (Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, and select counties in New York)
Reporting To: Director of Sales & National Sales Manager
Objective:
The Area Market Manager plays a crucial role in driving sales initiatives within a specified territory. This position collaborates closely with Sales Management and Customer Service teams to foster significant market expansion, enhance revenue growth, ensure customer satisfaction, and achieve long-term account objectives in alignment with Lomanco's core values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the sales of residential attic ventilation solutions through various distribution channels.
- Conduct educational workshops for distributors, builders, architects, and roofing professionals to showcase the quality and benefits of Lomanco's ventilation products.
- Maintain precise records of sales activities, including calls, presentations, prospecting, and follow-up efforts.
- Establish and manage a detailed contact management system.
- Create an annual Territory Business Plan outlining strategies and actions to meet or surpass growth targets.
- Possess a thorough understanding of pricing structures.
- Participate in industry-related training sessions, conferences, and seminars.
- Comply with all organizational policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in sales within the building products sector.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Demonstrated success in generating new business and meeting sales objectives.
- Strong organizational and leadership capabilities.
- Proficient in computer applications (MS Office, Outlook).
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Willingness to travel frequently for overnight assignments.
