Job Overview

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Junior Project Management Coordinator to join our Business Operations team. This role is pivotal in collaborating with Customer Support divisions to facilitate the creation, establishment, and oversight of integrated schedules that are essential for significant product and aircraft development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation, development, coordination, scheduling, and change management processes necessary for maintaining an integrated plan that aligns with program and project requirements, adhering to industry project management standards.
  • Engage in the maintenance, analysis, and generation of metrics related to project plans.
  • Support senior team members in conducting risk assessments, formulating mitigation strategies, and refining business cases.
  • Gather, organize, and present data to maintain the status of programs, schedules, and commitments from customers and suppliers.
  • Coordinate documentation of work statements and associated schedules.
  • Identify and report on performance discrepancies, project status, and changes to the project team.
  • Communicate modifications to plans and recovery strategies to ensure stakeholder commitment.

Work Environment:

This position requires 100% onsite presence at designated locations.

Compliance Requirements:

To comply with Export Control regulations, candidates must qualify as a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15, which includes U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in managing project schedules and overseeing programs.
  • At least 1 year of experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement plans or solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for over 3 years.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education and experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Bachelor’s degree) and generally 3 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Information:

Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Candidates must reside in the immediate area or be willing to relocate at their own expense.
