Position Overview

Role Summary:

RDC-S111, Inc. is in search of an experienced and innovative Project Manager to enhance our Store Planning division. This position calls for a proficient individual capable of managing several projects simultaneously, spearheading design efforts, and aiding in the development of team members. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional quality control, adeptness in managing internal workloads, budgets, and timelines, along with outstanding client and consultant relationship management skills. This role is crucial for ensuring project achievements through effective task coordination, deliverable assurance, and the promotion of a cooperative work atmosphere.

Project Management Duties:

  • Oversee multiple projects at once, effectively prioritizing tasks and timelines.
  • Establish and track project budgets, schedules, and key milestones, adjusting as necessary to guarantee success.
  • Conduct regular assessments of project progress and address any emerging challenges.
  • Implement and adhere to company standards and protocols.
  • Identify project requirements and engage relevant external consultants to optimize outcomes.
  • Maintain productive relationships with internal and external consultant teams, ensuring collaboration and timely results.
  • Manage project billing and invoicing processes.
  • Work closely with project architects to ensure a cohesive design team.

Client Engagement Responsibilities:

  • Develop and sustain strong client relationships through effective communication and understanding of their needs.
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients, addressing questions and concerns while ensuring satisfaction.
  • Facilitate and participate in client meetings, including occasional travel as required.
  • Proactively seek and secure new business opportunities through existing client networks and industry connections.
  • Collaborate with the business development team to identify and pursue potential projects.

Team Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Guide the professional growth of junior staff by providing mentorship and support.
  • Delegate tasks to junior team members based on their expertise and project demands.
  • Regularly monitor task progress, offering assistance and guidance to meet deadlines.
  • Recommend and facilitate training opportunities for direct reports, identifying avenues for professional advancement.
  • Encourage a collaborative and inclusive work environment that fosters creativity and development.
  • Provide enthusiastic leadership, cultivating a positive atmosphere and supportive morale.
  • Conduct performance evaluations for team members.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and retail architectural design.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management capabilities.
  • Proficient in relevant design and project management software.
  • A proven history in client relationship management and business development.
  • Advanced knowledge of architectural detailing and current construction standards.
  • In-depth understanding of building codes and the permitting process.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Construction Administration procedures.
