Job Overview

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Junior Project Management Coordinator to become a vital member of our Business Operations team.

The selected individual will collaborate with Customer Support divisions to spearhead the creation, establishment, and oversight of comprehensive schedules that facilitate significant product and aircraft development initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive mindset, demonstrating agility in adapting strategies, plans, and solutions to meet evolving business needs. You will play a crucial role in driving business planning and decision-making throughout the BCA value chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation, development, coordination, scheduling, and change management tasks necessary for maintaining an integrated plan that aligns with program and project requirements in line with industry standards.
  • Engage in the maintenance, analysis, and generation of metrics related to project plans.
  • Support senior team members in conducting risk assessments, formulating mitigation strategies, and refining business cases.
  • Gather, organize, and present data, updating tasks to reflect the status of programs, schedules, and commitments from customers and suppliers.
  • Coordinate documentation of work statements and associated schedules.
  • Identify and report on performance discrepancies, project statuses, and changes to the project team.
  • Communicate adjustments to plans and recovery strategies to ensure stakeholder commitment.

Work Environment:

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work at a designated location.

Export Control Compliance:

This position must adhere to Export Control compliance requirements, necessitating a "U.S. Person" as defined by relevant regulations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in managing project schedules and overseeing programs.
  • At least 1 year of experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement plans or solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for over 3 years.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education and experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Bachelor’s degree) and generally 3 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
