About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Executive Vice President of Media and Content Development to join our team at HofVillage. This is a unique opportunity to drive the growth of our media line of business and oversee all content and business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive media strategy to drive business growth and revenue.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key media channels, including agencies, studios, and development houses.
  • Identify and pursue new media deals across multiple platforms, including film, TV, and direct-to-consumer streaming.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
  • Drive new business development activity, including event development, sponsorship/partnership growth, and evaluation of new business verticals.
  • Develop original programming concepts consistent with the goals and objectives of HofVillage and the Media Division.
  • Identify marketable storylines, narratives, and content opportunities related to HofVillage, football, and the sports and entertainment industries.
  • Understand and adapt to current market conditions and network mandates to enhance revenue potential.
  • Support the flow of information by keeping departments updated on development efforts.
  • Track, monitor, and oversee the status of all media business relationships and contract administration.
Requirements
  • 8-10 years of experience in the media industry with management experience and progressively responsible business development roles.
  • Experienced media expert with strong partnership and communication skills and key contacts throughout the media industry.
  • Ability to drive new business deals across multiple types of media channels.
  • Deep understanding of the development and production process.
  • Proven track record of business growth, including leading sales/marketing/sponsorship efforts related to media content distribution.
  • Able to work independently in a high-volume and fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible schedule including occasional nights and weekends, as needed.
  • Must possess top-notch negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent oral and written skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Sports media industry experience, with experience in the football media sector a plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Media or related studies.
