Join our team as a Care Team Specialist I and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. As a key member of our ministry team, you will provide spiritual support to individuals in need, connecting them with hope and guidance through phone, email, and social media.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer pastoral phone calls and complete initial intake and assessment.
  • Provide crisis call screening and follow-up to all incoming communication channels, working closely with the ministry pastoral team.
  • Pray with callers without counseling, advising, or rebuking, adhering to liability guidelines.
  • Offer caller resources and scripture to assist them in their situation.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of scripture by including appropriate verses in responses, reflecting the tone of our Air1 and K-LOVE voices.
  • Respond to email, social media, and other communication from listeners from a pastoral support perspective.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a prayer ministry setting.
  • Solid understanding of scripture and strong knowledge of God's word.
  • Able to demonstrate discernment on spiritual issues and possess excellent listening skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office products and social media platforms, with the ability to learn new systems.
  • Keyboarding speed of 45+ WPM.
  • Ability to multi-task inbound/outbound calls and verbal/written communication with accuracy and excellence.
  • Associates degree (or higher) in biblical studies, theology, or equivalent a plus.
  • Bilingual skills a plus.
  • This is an on-site position, so candidates within commute distance of Franklin, TN preferred.
