Key Responsibilities:- Answer pastoral phone calls and complete initial intake and assessment.
- Provide crisis call screening and follow-up to all incoming communication channels, working closely with the ministry pastoral team.
- Pray with callers without counseling, advising, or rebuking, adhering to liability guidelines.
- Offer caller resources and scripture to assist them in their situation.
- Demonstrate an understanding of scripture by including appropriate verses in responses, reflecting the tone of our Air1 and K-LOVE voices.
- Respond to email, social media, and other communication from listeners from a pastoral support perspective.
- 2+ years of experience in a prayer ministry setting.
- Solid understanding of scripture and strong knowledge of God's word.
- Able to demonstrate discernment on spiritual issues and possess excellent listening skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office products and social media platforms, with the ability to learn new systems.
- Keyboarding speed of 45+ WPM.
- Ability to multi-task inbound/outbound calls and verbal/written communication with accuracy and excellence.
- Associates degree (or higher) in biblical studies, theology, or equivalent a plus.
- Bilingual skills a plus.
- This is an on-site position, so candidates within commute distance of Franklin, TN preferred.
