Job Title: Quality Assurance Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team at Solere. As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services, and for identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance our overall quality management system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform incoming inspections of purchased parts, components, materials, and assemblies to ensure compliance with engineering design data, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Document inspection results by completing inspection plans and reports, and verify finish/condition, dimensions, and configuration per inspection plans.
  • Review supplier documentation for compliance with engineering requirements, including special processes, and perform and record first article inspections in accordance with relevant standards.
  • Maintain inspection data and tool calibration systems, and assist with internal audits and external service provider audits as needed.
Requirements:
  • 3-7 years of experience in quality control or manufacturing, preferably in aerospace, automotive, or manufacturing.
  • Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T standards, and proficiency in using dimensional measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gages) and applying shop math and trigonometry.
  • Experience with SPC run charts, Gage R&R, and measurement system analysis, and familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems such as AS9100, AS9145, or ISO9001, and familiarity with FAA regulatory forms and standards.
