  • Emergency Response: Respond to Stroke Alert calls, providing immediate support and expertise.
  • Clinical Expertise: Act as a resource for nursing staff and other healthcare professionals, guiding them in complex patient care scenarios.
  • Professional Growth: Foster the development of both personal and team skills through ongoing education and training initiatives.
  • Community Engagement: Identify educational needs and implement programs that enhance awareness and prevention of stroke within the community.
  • Data Management: Oversee stroke registry data, contributing to quality improvement and research efforts.
  • Team Coordination: Lead Stroke Team meetings, facilitating discussions on data evaluation and process enhancements.
  • Continuum of Care: Manage the stroke program across all stages, from emergency medical services to patient discharge.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, with a preference for those holding a Master's Degree. A minimum of three years of nursing experience, particularly in neuro nursing, is highly desirable. Additionally, certification in Neuroscience Nursing is preferred.
