Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Residency Program Coordinator to join our team at Prisma Health. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for coordinating the Nurse Residency Program, ensuring the smooth transition of new graduate nurses into our healthcare system.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the Nurse Residency Program, including planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Develop and maintain relationships with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
  • Provide education and support to new graduate nurses, including orientation, mentorship, and coaching
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Education Team to develop and implement educational programs
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing program approved by the South Carolina State Board of Nursing
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
