We are on the lookout for a dynamic and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our Logistics Operations Center. This role is pivotal in overseeing and enhancing outbound freight processes and tools. Responsibilities include managing transportation scheduling, tracking shipments, negotiating freight rates, handling exceptions, and ensuring effective communication across teams to facilitate smooth transportation operations throughout our network. The working hours for this position are 8am-6pm, Wednesday through Saturday.
Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Implementing the outbound logistics strategy by collaborating with various procurement categories, distribution centers, third-party storage facilities, cross docks, and vendors.
  • Becoming a knowledgeable resource in all facets of HelloFresh's logistics network and exception management to guarantee timely deliveries to customers.
  • Engaging with category teams and distribution centers on a daily basis to efficiently coordinate delivery and shipping timelines.
  • Creating and disseminating best practices across shifts and the network to enhance operational processes.
  • Participating in special projects as needed, focusing on process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Conducting transportation data analyses as required.
  • Collaborating with distribution center leaders, procurement teams, and last-mile facilities to develop effective transportation strategies.

Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of experience in supply chain operations, particularly in transportation management.
  • A degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • Familiarity with transportation management software such as BluJay/E2Open is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% within the United States.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications.
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and v-lookups.
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
  • Project management experience is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of SQL and data analysis tools like Tableau is a plus.
  • This position requires the ability to perform the following physical tasks with or without reasonable accommodation:
