We are excited to announce an opportunity for a dynamic and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our Logistics Operations Center. This role will focus on enhancing and overseeing outbound freight processes and tools. Key responsibilities include transportation scheduling, tracking shipments, negotiating freight rates, managing exceptions, and fostering cross-functional communication to ensure smooth transportation execution throughout our network. The working hours for this position are from 8am to 6pm, Wednesday through Saturday.
Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Implementing the outbound logistics strategy across various procurement categories, distribution centers, third-party storage facilities, cross docks, and vendors.
  • Becoming a subject matter expert in all facets of HelloFresh's logistics network and exception recovery to guarantee timely customer deliveries.
  • Engaging with category teams and distribution centers on a daily basis to effectively coordinate delivery and shipping schedules.
  • Developing and disseminating best practices across shifts and the network to enhance operational processes.
  • Collaborating on special initiatives as needed, including process improvements and cost-saving projects.
  • Conducting transportation data analyses as required.
  • Working collaboratively with distribution center leaders, procurement leaders, and last-mile facilities to implement effective transportation strategies.

Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of experience in supply chain operations, particularly in transportation management.
  • A degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • Familiarity with transportation management software such as BluJay/E2Open is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% within the United States.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications.
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills, including experience with pivot tables and v-lookups.
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
  • Project management experience is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with SQL and data analysis tools like Tableau is an advantage.
  • This position requires the ability to perform the following physical tasks with or without reasonable accommodation:
