SUMMARY
  • ASM Global, a leader in the management of public assembly venues, is seeking a Barback/Busser to join our team. This role is essential in delivering exceptional customer service during events, ensuring a satisfying experience for all guests while supporting various retail operations within the venue.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in managing all food and beverage needs related to the bar areas.
  • Support the ordering, receiving, and inventory management of all necessary items.
  • Maintain appropriate storage of products by regularly monitoring stock levels.
  • Ensure timely delivery of quality products as directed by the Bar Manager.
  • Collaborate with Suite Staff, Kitchen Personnel, and the Stewarding department.
  • Adhere to grooming and sanitation standards consistently.
  • Adapt to event schedules and responsibilities based on operational needs.
  • Uphold customer service standards and ensure compliance with service protocols.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • TABC certification is required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of cash register operations and cash handling is necessary.
  • Ability to accurately count and manage cash transactions.
  • Familiarity with bar operations is advantageous.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Capable of reading and interpreting documents.
  • Proficient in basic math operations.
  • Able to follow instructions provided in various formats.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to relay instructions via radio.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including daytime, evening, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and maintain accuracy.
  • Adaptable to changing situations as they arise.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • This position requires regular movement throughout the facility, standing for extended periods during events, and effective communication with guests and staff. It may involve working in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings, as needed. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. to waist height.
