Overview
  • ASM Global, a leader in the management of public assembly venues, is seeking a dedicated Beverage Service Assistant. This role is essential in delivering exceptional customer service during events, ensuring guest satisfaction while supporting various service stations throughout the venue.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing all food and beverage needs related to the service areas.
  • Help with the procurement, receiving, and inventory management of all items.
  • Monitor stock levels to ensure proper storage and availability of products.
  • Deliver high-quality products promptly as directed by the Bar Manager.
  • Collaborate with Suite Staff, Kitchen Personnel, and the Stewarding department.
  • Adhere to grooming and sanitation standards consistently.
  • Support event operations and assignments based on business requirements.
  • Maintain customer service excellence in accordance with service standards.
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with clients.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • TABC certification is required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Education and Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of cash register operations and cash handling is necessary.
  • Competence in basic math for accurate cash management.
  • Familiarity with bar operations is advantageous.
Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to read and interpret various documents.
  • Proficient in basic arithmetic operations.
  • Capability to follow instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Effective communication skills, including the use of radio devices.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including daytime, evening, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
Physical Requirements
  • This position requires regular movement throughout the facility, standing for extended periods during events, and effective communication.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. to waist height.
