Beverage Service Specialist

SUMMARY
- ASM Global's Bartenders are tasked with delivering exceptional customer service during events to ensure guest satisfaction and accurate financial transactions, including inventory management, adhering to ASM Global's Universal Service Standards and relevant Operational Standards.
- Establishes and manages individual beverage stations.
- Handles cash transactions responsibly.
- Ensures compliance with all liquor regulations.
- Monitors and manages liquor inventory effectively.
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the work area.
- Adheres to safety protocols within the work environment.
- Provides friendly and efficient service to patrons.
- Reports to Food & Beverage personnel in the designated uniform.
- Prepares all beverage offerings for sale at the station.
- Processes sales transactions as per the established pricing guidelines.
- Receives and manages cash and/or tickets accurately.
- Conducts inventory checks and cash verifications with the supervisor.
- Ensures cash register is configured correctly according to approved pricing.
- Follows all applicable rules and regulations related to beverage operations and ASM Global's Food and Beverage Division.
- Requests identification from all guests purchasing alcoholic beverages.
- Performs additional related tasks as directed by the Food Service Manager.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- TABC certification is required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in addition to standard business hours.
- A high school diploma is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of cash register operations and cash handling is necessary.
- Must possess sufficient mathematical skills to accurately manage cash.
- Familiarity with bar operations is essential.
- Ability to follow instructions and perform tasks effectively.
- Proficient in English to communicate with customers, supervisors, and colleagues, as well as to comprehend policies and procedures.
- Capability to stand or walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Exhibits a positive, customer-oriented attitude consistently.
- Strong understanding of sanitary practices.
- Maintains appropriate grooming and dress standards.
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic with urgency and quality in a team setting.
- Ability to collaborate with other staff members.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail is crucial.
