SUMMARY
- ASM Global, a leader in the management of public assembly venues, is seeking a Barback/Busser to deliver exceptional customer service during events, ensuring a satisfying experience for all attendees while supporting various retail operations throughout the venue.
- Assist in managing all food and beverage needs related to the bar operations.
- Help with the procurement, receipt, and inventory management of all essential items.
- Maintain proper storage conditions by consistently monitoring stock levels.
- Ensure that high-quality products are provided promptly as directed by the Bar Manager.
- Collaborate effectively with Suite Staff, Kitchen Personnel, and the Stewarding department.
- Adhere to grooming and sanitation standards at all times.
- Support event schedules and responsibilities based on operational needs.
- Deliver excellent customer service, adhering to established service standards.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- TABC certification is required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in addition to regular business hours.
- A high school diploma is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of cash register operations and cash handling is necessary.
- Must possess sufficient mathematical skills to accurately manage cash transactions.
- Familiarity with bar operations is required.
- Capability to read and interpret various documents.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations.
- Competence in following instructions provided in written, oral, or diagrammatic forms.
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to relay instructions via radio.
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including daytime, evening, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines while working under pressure.
- Adaptability to changing situations as they arise.
- This role requires regular movement throughout the facility, standing for extended periods during events, and effective communication.
- Physical tasks may include lifting and stooping, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. to waist height.
