We are looking for a talented Sous Chef to become a vital part of our culinary team. The successful candidate will be tasked with delivering exceptional food quality in a timely, efficient, and sanitary manner.

Position Overview: Full-Time Role, Competitive Hourly Rate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and organize workstations with all necessary ingredients and tools.
  • Ensure all food items meet freshness and quality standards.
  • Cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other dishes using various cooking techniques.
  • Adhere to standard portion sizes and kitchen policies to maintain quality.
  • Maintain adequate stock levels to ensure seamless service.
  • Assist with food preparation during slower periods as required.
  • Deliver timely and high-quality food service.
  • Follow established guidelines for plate presentation and garnishing.
  • Keep the workstation clean and sanitary, properly handling and storing food products.
  • Organize and maintain cleanliness in reach-in and walk-in coolers.
  • Exhibit professionalism and foster positive working relationships.
  • Comply with safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions.
  • Follow all policies outlined in the Employee Handbook.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of culinary experience preferred.
  • Possession of relevant licenses or certifications.
  • Understanding of food preparation techniques, materials, and equipment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
  • Capability to multitask and perform under pressure.
  • Professional appearance is essential.
