Key Responsibilities

As a Sous Chef, you will play a vital role in our kitchen operations. Your duties will include:

  • Supporting the Chef/Kitchen Manager in daily kitchen tasks and overseeing the preparation of salads, soups, and other menu items.
  • Collaborating with the Chef/Kitchen Manager to synchronize order timing and production schedules.
  • Managing stock levels and assisting customers with their needs.
  • Helping maintain an inventory of fresh ingredients and supplies.
  • Coordinating closely with departments such as Meat, Seafood, Produce, and Grocery.
  • Training and assessing team members as necessary.
  • Fostering positive relationships with customers, vendors, and fellow employees.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety sanitation standards.
  • Possessing a valid Food Handler card.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a culinary role. While catering experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory. Availability for various shifts, including weekends, is required. Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
