We are in search of a highly qualified and experienced Permanent Director of Accounting to oversee our finance department. This role is crucial in ensuring the financial stability and success of our organization.

Our ideal candidate possesses not only a strong accounting background but also a comprehensive understanding of business strategy, utilizing financial insights to inform decision-making.

Proficiency with contemporary accounting systems and software is essential, enabling the analysis of financial data, forecasting trends, and budgeting needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all accounting functions including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and variance reports.
- Prepare and disseminate timely monthly financial statements.
- Oversee the preparation of regulatory reports.
- Investigate technical accounting issues to ensure compliance.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
- Manage compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements and tax obligations.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to enhance internal controls.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of combined accounting and finance experience.
- Audit experience with a thorough understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
- Experience in creating financial statements and managing general ledger functions.
- Excellent skills in accounting software usage and administration.
