Administrative Financial Coordinator for Property Management

A key role within the organization is the Administrative Financial Coordinator for Property Management. This position involves overseeing financial records, processing payments, and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and update accounting records and files. Analyze budgets and create comprehensive financial reports.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage invoicing, handle accounts payable and receivable, and ensure timely payment of bills.
- Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile bank accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Budget Preparation: Assist with budget preparation and expense tracking against budget.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports that provide insightful analysis and recommendations.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including tax filing requirements.
- Lease Renewals: Assist with updating lease renewals in compliance with HUD and affordable housing regulations.
- Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Attention to Detail: A high level of accuracy in handling financial data is essential.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain organized records is crucial.
- Mathematical and Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in basic math and ability to analyze financial data is necessary.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication capabilities to interact with vendors, tenants, and management staff are required.
- Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in Yardi Voyager and Checkscan, familiarity with standard accounting software like QuickBooks or Sage, and Microsoft Office Suite is expected.
An associate's degree in accounting or a related field is preferred. Previous experience in bookkeeping or a similar role, especially within property management, is highly advantageous. Familiarity with HUD and managing affordable housing portfolios is required.
The estimated salary range for this position is up to $55,000 per year.
