Position Overview

The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis is dedicated to empowering individuals and fostering opportunities for African Americans and other communities in the region. We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Program Coordinator to enhance our Federation of Block Units Public Safety Collaborative (STLPSC). This position is essential for overseeing the daily functions and operations of the STLPSC.

The Program Coordinator will be responsible for executing established strategies to meet contractual objectives and ensuring effective service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee program personnel by providing guidance, constructive feedback, and support.
  • Draft, amend, and evaluate data-sharing and grant agreements as necessary.
  • Facilitate STLPSC discussions focused on intervention methodologies.
  • Co-facilitate bi-monthly meetings to strategize implementation and follow-up actions.
  • Offer project management assistance in developing Implementation Strategy Project Plans and updates, providing frameworks for STLPSC members.
  • Design and present informative sessions regarding STLPSC initiatives.
  • Foster relationships with community stakeholders, local leaders, and nonprofit organizations.
  • Coordinate logistics for STLPSC participation in public safety meetings, training sessions, workshops, and conferences.
  • Manage communication channels for STLPSC.
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to OVP detailing STLPSC activities.
  • Assist in identifying trends, developing risk narratives, and formulating community-driven solutions utilizing RTMDx analysis.
  • Generate content for regular updates and progress reports for STLPSC.

The qualifications for this role typically include a combination of education and experience. A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field, along with relevant experience in public administration and a minimum of three years working with diverse client demographics and the broader community, is preferred.
