Intertek's Electrical division offers assurance, testing, inspection, and certification for a wide array of electrical products, such as appliances, consumer electronics, lighting, medical devices, information communications technology, HVACR, industrial applications, and energy transmission and distribution. Our dedicated team ensures the quality, safety, and sustainability of electrical products utilized by individuals globally.

Key Responsibilities

The Regional Operations Coordinator will oversee all production and scheduling management activities for a designated site and regional network. By effectively managing resources, assets, and schedules, this position will optimize laboratory throughput and fulfill client requirements for timely and precise project completion. This role will report directly to the Regional Operations Manager.

What You Will Do:
  • Enhance production capabilities by evaluating project readiness, actual effort, and resource scheduling while collaborating with other Regional Operations Coordinators to leverage the network.
  • Establish Promised Completion Dates (PCD) and confirm expectations with clients.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients, internal resources, and other key contacts to prevent significant delays or unexpected production interruptions.
  • Collaborate with operations managers and regional directors to ensure accurate forecasts for laboratory and regional activities.
  • Organize project schedules in logical sequences and allocate time effectively to meet customer deadlines.
  • Monitor project milestones and expenditures to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.
  • Serve as an escalation resource for clients or internal stakeholders when critical milestones or deliverables are at risk.
  • Engage in project management and scheduling functions, directing and overseeing all aspects of project planning and design, including scope management.
  • Compile data and reports, maintaining project documentation in accordance with Quality System standards.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree preferred.
  • Ability to acquire new skills and demonstrate progress in the role.
  • Prior experience in project scheduling is essential.
  • Strong communication skills in verbal, written, and presentation formats.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational abilities.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
