Position Overview:


At HNTB, we are seeking a dedicated professional to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to significant infrastructure initiatives that impact communities nationwide.

As a key player in our organization, you will take charge of crafting and directing proposal and interview preparations for intricate projects. You will work closely with various teams to devise effective strategies for success.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the coordination, composition, and leadership of qualification documents, proposals, and supplementary materials for project pursuits.
  • Assist in managing timelines and deadlines for proposals, develop structured outlines, and collaborate with project leaders to track proposal progress.
  • Engage with technical teams to create, review, and refine original content, ensuring clarity, compliance, and alignment with core messages.
  • Partner with pursuit teams to formulate strategies, leveraging insights on clients, competitors, and HNTB's unique offerings.
  • Facilitate and organize strategy meetings to enhance pursuit efforts.
  • Support client service teams by preparing materials for both internal and external engagements, and actively participate in client service discussions.
  • May oversee public relations activities for the division, including drafting press releases, writing articles for newsletters, and coordinating project recognitions.
  • Guide and mentor technical staff during presentation phases.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:


A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field, accompanied by six years of relevant experience, or alternatively, ten years of pertinent experience in lieu of a degree.


Essential Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint, MS Teams, Adobe InDesign, Acrobat, and CRM software.
  • Expertise in leading strategy and message development, utilizing persuasive communication skills across various levels of management.
  • Ability to identify and engage subject matter experts to incorporate industry insights into winning strategies.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with strong document quality control and editing skills to produce compelling, grammatically accurate content.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively, demonstrating excellent time management and prioritization abilities.
  • Experience in implementing advanced sales tools and practices, addressing document compliance issues.

Preferred Attributes:
  • Self-motivated individual with the capacity to manage various deadlines and team dynamics.
  • Prior experience in the AEC sector leading pursuit initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Adobe InDesign.
