Position Title: Help Desk Technician

Location: 100% onsite

Contract Type: Long Term Contract

Overview: Brooksource is in search of a committed and proficient Help Desk Technician to provide essential support to our clients. This role is pivotal in delivering Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical assistance, diagnosing workstation issues, and resolving hardware and software challenges. The successful candidate will exhibit outstanding communication abilities and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring exceptional service delivery to users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct basic troubleshooting and maintenance of workstations.
  • Address and resolve standard Tier 1 & Tier 2 inquiries.
  • Troubleshoot and support Windows 10 & 11 operating systems.
  • Provide telephonic support for networking or connectivity challenges.
  • Install and execute minor repairs on hardware, software, or peripheral devices as per specifications.
  • Deliver basic diagnosis, analysis, and resolution of user issues.
  • Independently image and reimage devices in preparation for deployment, adhering to documented protocols.
  • Assist users during their transition from Windows 10 to Windows 11 compliant devices.

  • Ability to effectively assist clients both over the phone and in person.
  • Strong collaborative skills and capacity to work well within a team environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be a resident of Ohio.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or possess the appropriate legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Experience in troubleshooting Windows 10 & 11 operating systems.
  • Experience in installing and performing minor repairs on hardware, software, or peripheral devices.
  • Ability to provide basic diagnosis, analysis, and resolution of technical issues.
  • Capability to independently image and reimage equipment.
