Overview: Brooksource is in search of a committed and proficient Technical Support Specialist to enhance our team. This position is focused on delivering Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical assistance, diagnosing workstation issues, and resolving hardware and software challenges. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding communication abilities and a keen eye for detail, ensuring exceptional service delivery to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct basic troubleshooting and maintenance of workstations.
- Address and resolve standard Tier 1 & Tier 2 technical issues.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for Windows 10 & 11 operating systems.
- Assist users via telephone with networking or connectivity challenges.
- Install and execute minor repairs on hardware, software, or peripheral devices in accordance with established specifications.
- Deliver fundamental diagnosis, analysis, and resolution of user issues.
- Independently prepare and configure equipment for deployment, adhering to documented procedures.
- Support users transitioning from Windows 10 to Windows 11 compliant devices.
Essential Attributes:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively engage with clients both over the phone and in person.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work well in group settings.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be a resident of Ohio.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or possess the appropriate legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Experience in troubleshooting Windows 10 & 11 operating systems.
- Experience in installing and performing minor repairs on hardware, software, or peripheral devices.
- Ability to provide basic diagnosis, analysis, and resolution of technical issues.
- Capability to independently prepare and configure equipment.
