SBM Management Services is seeking a skilled HR Leave Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for administering the day-to-day operations of the leave of absence process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist employees with personal and protected leave of absence requests, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Process status changes related to leave of absence, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Collaborate with external vendors to facilitate protected FMLA leaves for employees, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Ensure adherence to SBM Management Services' leave policy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide guidance and training to HR field staff on leave of absence processing and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive employee information.
- Accurately perform data entry of new hires, terminations, and other personnel actions, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Review and verify change requests and documents to ensure accuracy and completeness of information.
- Provide backup support to the Shared Services Lead Coordinator as needed.
- Assist with projects and initiatives related to leave administration and HR operations.
Requirements:
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
- A valid driver's license may be required.
- An Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or relevant experience and training.
Compensation: $25.00 per hour
Shift: Full Time
