Director of Social Work
Full Time
$2k Sign-On Bonus
Experience in long-term care is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Director of Social Services, you will oversee our Social Services Department and its various programs. Your role is vital in promoting the emotional, social, and psychological health of our residents.
Primary Duties Include:
- Design and execute comprehensive social services initiatives that cater to the varied needs of our residents.
- Lead the Social Services team, ensuring the provision of exceptional, person-centered care.
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans that enhance residents' overall well-being.
- Serve as a liaison among residents, families, and community resources to facilitate smooth transitions into our facility and assist with discharge planning.
- Champion residents' rights, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care while maintaining their dignity and independence.

Qualifications:
Requirements for the Director of Social Services:
- Master's degree in social work or a related field.
- Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) preferred.
- A minimum of 4 years in social services, with at least 2 years in a leadership position within a long-term care environment.
- Strong knowledge of the aging process, psychosocial needs of the elderly, and the effects of chronic illness.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse team and build positive relationships with residents and their families.
