Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Support Specialist at Change Incorporated

This position entails delivering a variety of supportive services to individuals in both home and community environments. Our clients gain from services provided through diverse programs, including elder assistance, mental health care, recovery support, and in-home services for individuals with developmental disabilities or ABI.

  • Engaging in conversations with clients while offering essential support and companionship.
  • Building and sustaining a constructive and supportive relationship through effective communication.
  • Guiding and assisting clients in reaching their recovery plan objectives.
  • Submitting daily progress updates to supervisors and agency representatives.
  • Accompanying clients to medical appointments and social engagements specified in the recovery plan.
  • Conducting light housekeeping duties.
  • Capability to lift weights up to 15 pounds.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of experience working with ABI clients or possession of ILST Certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in direct healthcare or a robust customer service background.
  • Dependable and responsible with a genuine passion for helping others.
  • Possession of reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and current automobile insurance.
