Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Support Specialist at Change Incorporated
This position focuses on delivering a variety of assistance services to individuals in both home and community environments. Our clients gain from the diverse offerings of our programs, which encompass elder care, mental health assistance, recovery support, and in-home services for those with developmental disabilities or ABI.
- Engaging in meaningful conversations with clients while providing essential support and companionship.
- Building and sustaining a constructive and supportive rapport through effective communication techniques.
- Guiding and aiding individuals in reaching their recovery plan objectives.
- Submitting daily progress updates to supervisors and agency representatives.
- Accompanying clients to medical appointments and social engagements as specified in their recovery plans.
- Carrying out light housekeeping duties.
- Capability to lift items weighing up to 15 pounds.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of two years of experience working with ABI clients or possession of ILST Certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in direct healthcare or a robust background in customer service.
- Dependable and responsible with a genuine commitment to helping others.
- Access to reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and current automobile insurance.
