Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Support Specialist at Change Incorporated
This position entails delivering a variety of assistance services to individuals within a home and community environment. Our clients gain from services provided through diverse programs, including elder care, mental health assistance, recovery support, and in-home services for individuals with developmental disabilities or ABI.
- Engaging in conversation with clients and offering essential support and companionship.
- Building and sustaining a constructive and supportive relationship through effective communication.
- Guiding and aiding individuals in reaching their recovery plan objectives.
- Submitting daily progress updates to supervisors and agency representatives.
- Accompanying clients to medical appointments and social engagements specified in the recovery plan.
- Carrying out light housekeeping duties.
- Capability to lift up to 15 pounds.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of experience working with ABI clients or possession of ILST Certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in direct healthcare or a robust customer service background.
- Dependable and responsible with a commitment to helping others.
- Possession of reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and current automobile insurance.
