Direct Care Workers/Recovery Assistants deliver essential support services to individuals in both home and community environments. Our clients benefit from a variety of programs we provide, including elder care (companionship, homemaking, personal assistance), mental health recovery support, and in-home assistance for those with developmental disabilities or acquired brain injuries.
- Engage in meaningful conversations and offer companionship, as well as necessary resources for daily living.
- Establish and nurture a supportive relationship with participants through effective communication.
- Assist individuals in meeting their recovery plan objectives.
- Regularly report progress to supervisors and agency representatives through daily documentation.
- Transport clients to medical appointments or social events as outlined in the recovery plan using personal or public transportation.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks as needed.
- Capable of lifting items weighing up to 15 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in healthcare or a strong background in customer service.
- Dependable and responsible with a genuine passion for helping others.
- Possession of a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance.
