Job Description

**About the Role**

The Internal Marketing Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the creation of compelling proposals for both new and renewal business within our brokerage. This position is vital to ensuring that our proposals are well-crafted, accurate, and positioned to meet the needs of our clients and prospects.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Proposal Development:** Assist in the development and preparation of detailed proposals for new business opportunities and renewals. Ensure proposals are accurate, comprehensive, and effectively communicate our value proposition to clients.
  • **Data Compilation and Analysis:** Gather and organize relevant information from internal teams, including underwriting, risk management, and sales, to create well-informed and customized proposals.
  • **Collaboration and Coordination:** Collaborate with account managers, underwriters, and other stakeholders to ensure all necessary information is included in proposals and deadlines are met.
  • **Quality Control and Assurance:** Review proposals for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with client needs. Make necessary revisions and updates as needed.
  • **Documentation Management:** Maintain organized records of all proposals, including drafts, revisions, and final versions.
  • **Client Communication and Support:** Occasionally assist in responding to client inquiries related to proposals and provide follow-up support to ensure client satisfaction.
  • **Process Improvement and Optimization:** Continuously look for ways to streamline and improve the proposal creation process.

**Requirements**

  • **Experience:** 1-3 years of experience in an administrative, marketing, or support role within an insurance brokerage, financial services, or similar industry is preferred.
  • **Skills:** Strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • **Knowledge:** Familiarity with property and casualty insurance products and services is a plus but not required.
  • **Organized and Team Player:** Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines, as well as work collaboratively with different departments and manage relationships with internal stakeholders.
