Care Coordinator

At The Stamford Hospital, we are seeking a highly skilled Care Coordinator to join our NICU department. This full-time, night shift position will require working 3 days a week, with rotating weekends and holidays.
About the RoleThis is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for a qualified Pediatric Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care and support. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care, supervising non-RN personnel, and acting as a resource for ancillary staff.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care utilizing the Nursing Process and adhering to established standards of practice.
- Supervise unit activities, including charge or clinical coordinator roles.
- Act as a preceptor to new staff and/or students as requested.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to implement patient plans of care.
- Prior NICU experience is required.
- A valid license as a Registered Nurse in Connecticut is mandatory.
- BLS certification is necessary.
- Maintain a minimum of 6 contact hours annually.
The estimated annual salary for this role is $75,000-$85,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
