Role Overview:

The Communications and Marketing Coordinator II is responsible for developing, executing, and managing communication strategies that align with the organization’s strategic goals. This role involves creating marketing initiatives to boost awareness and engagement with various programs and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement comprehensive marketing and communication plans to promote departmental activities.
  • Oversee the production of promotional materials, both digital and print, ensuring collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  • Manage the content lifecycle for blogs and online promotions, enhancing visibility and participation.
  • Prepare executive communications and presentations, developing campaigns to foster stakeholder engagement.
  • Conduct benchmarking with external organizations to identify and leverage marketing trends.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with students and community stakeholders through diverse channels, including websites and newsletters.
  • Contribute to the planning of marketing materials, utilizing research to address communication needs effectively.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all digital platforms, including websites, emails, and social media.
  • Analyze online content and marketing performance, utilizing tools such as SEO and analytics to inform strategies.
  • Manage social media accounts, overseeing daily campaigns and activities.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree and four years of relevant experience, or an Associate’s degree with six years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in brand management and marketing.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and WordPress.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft high-quality content for diverse audiences.
  • Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively with various communication platforms.
