Position Overview

Eastern National is in search of a Retail Associate with a dedicated work ethic to assist in our retail operations at National Capital sites. This role is vital in supporting our mission to educate and engage visitors.

This is a full-time, hourly position with a starting wage of $17.75 per hour. The ideal candidate must be available to work on weekends and holidays.

As a Retail Associate, you will act as a representative for America's National Parks, promoting our mission and values. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Guiding visitors in selecting products and suggesting complementary items.
  2. Managing the cash register, ensuring accurate transaction records.
  3. Providing information about the park to enhance visitor knowledge.
  4. Maintaining a safe and inviting store atmosphere aligned with our mission.
  5. Restocking merchandise and adhering to visual merchandising standards.
  6. Assisting in inventory management and conducting spot checks as directed.
  7. Independently opening and closing the store when necessary.
